Lovely Ladies

Random illustrations of beautiful ladies :) Each of these images really inspire me and make me strive to work harder at creating my own art. I find it really hard to get motivated ever. And I need new materials and media damnit!

This style of drawing women really fascinates me, they look kind of innocent but at the same time powerful. I guess it's just their female sensuality? They're all pouty lip faced, but you can tell in their eyes they mean business and they'll take no beef! (Except for the girl in the pond, she's kinda mid-drown there).

Update of stupid [rad] hair

I think I must be doing something wrong with the dye... it keeps fading so much straight after... So I'm just going to leave it on overnight... and not wash it out as much...obviously,

Then I'ma go for these colours half/half.

Reads

I was reading three books, and thought it was crazy coincidental that all featured ladies should be posing in rather similar ways! :O Somebody call ghostbusters or something...

Narnia quite stared to bore me *sad face* so I moved on to Northanger Abbey. I never really do that! I feel too guilty and disturbed like I should finish one book before moving on. In my mind, I'll resume reading it later... I guess that's what it is.

It takes me ageees to finish books for some reason too. I just enjoy them, and like to drag them out :3

Purr-chase

While I was doing my James Jean post I was interrupted by my Urban Outfitters order being delivered! :O Yay. Last package I'm expecting for now too, this makes me sad. No more chances of a morning surprise present to brighten my day.

Anyway this is what I got!

That's a four action shot viewfinder ;) and an Anna Sui lipstick.

The boots are the kind of boots that are really hard to put on. Especially without socks.. and then you get all panicy and terrified and think you're going to die mid boot struggle. I even made a comic about it just now, because THAT's how bored I am today.

Now to organize my overstuffed room some more. I'm running out of space and it will soon be overflowing if I don't purge.

Jj

Get pumped for some amazing James Jean action. He's pretty much in my top 3 favourite artists.. I don't know which order though... haven't thought about that yet. Now making a favourite artists list is on my To Do list.

I got this in the mail this week :) It's so pretty and eloquently detailed, could look at it all day long. And now I feel the need to have more of his books in my possession.

The cover art of Fables is where I first saw James Jeans' work. It was always so fluid, beautiful and soft. Everything was so delicate and detailed and I was instantly amazed! I mean look at her hair falling on the stairs, doesn't get much better than that. You can't even aspire to be this good.

All the hip kids...

So I thought it would be a great idea to start my own blog, all the hip kids seem to be doing it, seems to work well for them!

I'll probably just be sharing illustrations and designs that I think are totally awesome (like everyone else, right?) annnd things about myself that I think are amazingly exciting, but everyone else will think are so so boring. Enjoy.

Well today I might as well show you my dip dyed hair that I have wanted for ages, I did it last week, but I've changed it already (please excuse the pouty face).

And now it is purple... it seems more boring because it's dark again. I was going to leave the tips blonde, or dye a different colour... but I was doing it myself, and I just don't have the patience/lack of gumbiness.

That's the look I was wanting to go for... Should have half-halved him. Oh well! Next time it's green :)
