Well I was so excited this morning. I was having a sleep in, then I wake up because my mother opens my door and she's bearing what looks like infinity packages that came in the post for me!
I was in delirious sleep mode therefore I was chanting 'omg omg omg' Anyway that was such a brilliant start to my day so I just have to share my loot with someone now! Simple pleasures people.

My comments:

Litas:
When I tried it on for the first time I literally said "It's so soft on my foot!"
Everyone says how comfy these shoes are, and you know- don't believe it til you've tried it- that's what my thoughts were, but boy! They really are comfy! I was talking to my bro about it (cuz he's cool like that- and was getting all technical about it) and we (read: he) figured that it's because it just gives the illusion of height but inside the shoe there's actually not that much height at all. So your foot is all comfy up in there while you are towering above most boys. For me... it's only small boys, because I'm a shortie :C I just think that's amazing and smart, and I really love them! And I thank JC for making such hawt tall shoes which girls can actually walk in without spraining their ankle or tripping and lsoing all their shit (this happened to me once with a pair of tall wedges 6 inch i think? It was at the races and their were old people about, I felt their judging eyes I FELT THEM). These shoes are my first JC purchase, and I hope for many more in the future! (R.I.P. bank account)
P.S. The shoebox was pink had kitties on it! Usually I don't like felines but the packaging was so cute! <3

Galaxy Green:
Lol- I didn't even get a shipping confirmation e-mail, so I wasn't expecting this! I was quite pleasantly surprised though to say the least. It's so beautiful. I wish the only clothes I owned were BM!

UO:
Wolves, bacon and cards! What a perfect order. These are quite my favourite things! Not all of my favourite things of course- psssh who only has three favourite things? Lame people- that's who! The wolf shirt goes well with my purple galaxies- yay, that's the other reason I bought it!

I think all this excitement will last me till I fall asleep seeing at it is now 12...
Night sprites!

Small Green Fox - Conceptual Eyes Exhibition 2011

Hey Foxes,
This is an event from last year, but since a lot of exciting stuff happened then, and this blog is only fresh and new I’m gonna have to use old material. Hope you don’t mind!
Anyway, this from my diploma class’ exhibition in November last year. The night was a whole lot of fun, but for something that takes so long to plan, it ends before you know it.
I had a great class and teachers, we had really fun times. Our official graduation ceremony is in two weeks, so that will be exciting- gowns, caps and all!
As a group the theme was ConceptualEyes, we had to come up with the branding, venue and all that other planning. Then we each had various areas to display our personal works. We had to create an identity and brand for ourself. Small Green Fox is my brand. I chose it because it’s unique and kind of quirky. It means a few different things- it’s kind of like my alter ego. It can be seen as what personality I want myself and my business to represent- small representing humble, green representing being down-to-earth and the lime colour in particular is an odd colour that you can’t help but be fond of. The fox character represents sly and cunning (without the evil stereotype of foxes) solutions to graphic design. The character having Edwardian-esque or just traditional accessories (top hat, monocle, bow tie) a friendly fox that you can trust and that is very easy to get along with. And he’s also kind of like my little graphic design companion- helping me out with design problems and encouraging me. So in a relatively short paragraph, that explains the meaning behind my brand.
By the way, my mum made me my very own real life Small Green Fox- you’ll see him down there. Felting is a really interesting craft- it baffles me, you’ll have to google it. Everyone loved him and I don’t blame them!
Hope you enjoy the photos.

Later Foxes!

Took Chewiie to Queen’s Park today!

Meet Chewiee- the small brown not-so-fox.
It was a great sunny day and the flowers were bright and colourful!
Chewiie even got a bath this morning. It’s a lot of work for such a small dog. And after our walk we went to the pet food shop to stock up his kibble supply. I don’t take him to the park and out on adventures as much as I should, so hopefully the little guy had fun today!
